Hypnobirthing Graduates!!!!!!

Okay, so we just finished our last  hypno birthing class last night and this means it is time to spread our wings and leave the nest all on our own (so scary right?) If some of you are not familiar with hypnobirthing I have attached a link to our instructors site at the end of this post so you can learn more, basically it is about reprogramming your mind regarding all the birth process in general and learning to relax and listen to your body in order to achieve a natural smooth birth.....I highly recommend it! I have en grained in my head the phrase "Cancel Cancel" when anyone approaches me with a horrible birth story or any negativity of any kind, it works with anything in life and toxic people too (like magic...poof negativity gone!)

Definitely the highlight (or maybe most mortifying, but funny time) of the class was during the hypnosis session of the second class. So we start to get comfy, unroll our yoga mats and get set up in a circle, the lights are dim the music is soothing. Then ten minutes in to hypnosis I hear a familiar noise coming from my husbands mat, his snore was slowly getting louder and immediately "the birthing valve" used to turn off pain that I had been envisioning, suddenly turn in to the "ADAM SNORE-O-METER" getting louder and louder!!!!!!!!! I start uncontrollably laughing and could not stop .This laughing sounds like squealing, full body jolts, and crying uncontrollably while trying to catch my breath( my mom, brother, Adam and now the whole hypnobirthing class are the only ones that have witnessed this train wreck first hand throughout my life)...So I panic and try to think of something sad and that doesn't even work. Well my hyena laughter wakes up Adam and he thinks I am crying because my body is trembling, he tries to rub my back and I laugh harder and pull away.Well then I lose control and let out some gas...OMG this is horrible, I just tooted and I am sweating and my makeup is all over my red face and eventually the lights will be turned on, the music will be silent and I have to face these people.

I slowly get up, take one look at Adam and we start laughing uncontrollably together like no one else is in the room. I think I kept the laughter going because I was so embarrassed not only by the events prior, but also because it was so damn funny to me and I couldn't stop. Everyone in the class eventually started laughing as well and after I pulled myself together, I apologized to the instructor for being the disruptive immature couple ! I will be very lucky if I can laugh all the way through labor though...HAHAHAHAAAAAA, I will start to visualize that now :)
